Support the ingenious creativity of Washington state's artists at this signature gala event—because art rocks! Expect over 700 artists, arts enthusiasts and community leaders to “Party like an Art Star.” The goal is to raise more funds than ever before to provide direct funding to individual artists of Washington State. This Artist Trust event promises not only to benefit artists with the proceeds raised, but also to be an exciting, fast-paced evening with live and silent auctions, cocktails, dinner, dancing, and entertainment provided by some of the Northwest’s most talented performance artists. “This is our signature fundraising event of the year,” said Fidelma McGinn, Artist Trust’s Executive Director. “Every dollar we raise goes back into supporting our grants, programs and resources. Last year’s auction raised more than $260,000, and we hope to surpass this figure in 2008. In 2007 we were able to provide support for 77 artists through GAP awards – direct Grants for Artist Projects.
