ARTIST TRUST ANNOUNCES SHORT-TERM SATELLITE OFFICE IN ELLENSBURG TO INCREASE STATEWIDE OUTREACH

In keeping with its mission to serve artists across the state, Artist Trust will open a short-term satellite office in Ellensburg, WA, February through June 2009. Artist Trust’s temporary residence will be housed at Gallery One Visual Arts Center, Mondays and Tuesdays, 9:00am–5:00pm. Artists are invited to stop by and learn about Artist Trust’s professional development resources and grants (including the Grants for Artist Projects, a project-based grant open to Washington artists of all disciplines, due February 20).

In tandem with Gallery One’s First Friday opening on March 6, 2009, from 5-7pm, Artist Trust invites artists in the area to an Open House. Visit Artist Trust on the second floor of Gallery One’s newly renovated building, and meet Central Washington Artist Trust grant recipients, EDGE Professional Development Program participants and Artist Trust Ambassadors.

“We’re very much looking forward to meeting more artists in the area in order to make meaningful connections between artists and the resources available to them in this state,” says Monica Miller, Director of Programs. Ms. Miller will be staffing the office, located at:
