Artist Trust/Washington State Arts Commission Fellowship awards of $6,500 are given annually to practicing professional artists of exceptional talent and demonstrated ability. The Fellowship is a merit-based award. Artist Trust/Washington State Arts Commission Fellowships are awarded in two-year cycles: Emerging & Cross-Disciplinary Arts, Performing Arts, Visual Arts and Traditional & Folk Arts are awarded in even-numbered years. Music Arts, Media Arts, Literary Arts and Craft Arts are awarded in odd-numbered years. Learn about each year's recipients by clicking on the year to the left. Applicants must be a practicing artist, 18 years of age or older by application deadline date, a generative artist, and a resident of Washington State at the time of application and when the award is granted.
