Unique stone only symposia that offers something for all level sculptors. NWSSA (Northwest Stone Sculpture Association) has been hosting these events for over 20 years. "Camp B" near Mount Vernon offers something for all level sculptors. Beginners and intermediate carvers come to learn, grow as artists, and try new things in a supportive environment. Professional sculptors gather to work on projects, share information, get inspiration,  and often to help beginners. Stone and tools are available for purchase from knowledgeable vendors who know the business and are carvers, too.

The Second Annual Capitol Hill Pride Festival 2010 on Broadway, celebrating diversity and community Pride, will be Saturday, June 26, 2010, from 10am-10pm. It will feature three public stages, over 200 booths and vendors, live entertainment, music, singing, Doggie Drag costume contest, and face/body painting.
