Washington Filmworks in partnership with IFP/Seattle, Northwest Film Forum, Northwest Screenwriters Guild, Seattle Film Institute, Seattle International Film Festival, Seattle Office of Film + Music, and Women in Film/Seattle present "Pulling Focus: A Clear Picture of Today’s Film Industry" -- the first of three events about the business of film featuring a candid conversation with veteran Producer Jay Stern (Rush Hour 1,2, 3, Money Talks, Love Jones), Moderated by Warren Etheredge.

Suzanne Brooker has been an instructor at Gage Academy of Art for over ten years.  She has now written a book "Portrait Painting Atelier,Old Master Techniques and Contemporary Applications".  Join Suzanne on Friday, March 26 (free) at 7:00pm at Gage Academy for her book signing and lecture.
 
Her book will be available for purchase that evening at a discount from retail plus some of the purchase price goes to Gage as a fund raiser.

Join biologist and author Dr. Thor Hanson for pictures, music, and stories about his work with the mountain gorillas of Uganda and other rare African species. Hanson will read from his award-winning book, The Impenetrable Forest: My Gorilla Years in Africa. A book signing will follow.
