Disonancias seeks artists to develop research projects with companies and organizations located in the Basque Country, Spain, between October 2008 and July 2009.

The Bali Purnati Center for the Arts in Indonesia offers up to 12 artist residencies twice a year (3 months each spring and fall) to artists in a variety of disciplines. Art fields include performing, visual arts, written word, music and film. The foundation seeks to support early stage development of ground-breaking works fusing original stories and traditions in Asia with contemporary artistic vision.

The Washington State Arts Commission seeks teaching artists who have strong skills and experience as individual artists, as well as strong skills and experience working with students in K-12 public schools, to apply for their Roster of Teaching Artists.

The Banff Centre, in scenic Banff National Park in Canada has an ongoing series of work study opportunities in professional arts fields such as art preparation, audio engineering and technical line producer. Positions generally run for three month periods and include modest pay and stipend. Application fee.

The residency is a 10 week period that coincides with the semester and focuses on working with the students at Northwood University in Midland, Michigan. Previous fellows have included creative thinkers who design computer programs, board games, create videos, write and sculpt. Please submit a one page biography with a one page proposal outlining what you would like to do to interact with the student population. 

Aomori Contemporary Art Centre in Aomori, Japan, seeks artists in residence for the autumn session, September 24th through December 20th, 2008. The Centre seeks artists who are active in contemporary art (any discipline)and will work to involve the local community in art.

Artopia Seattle seeks artists to participate in the annual Georgetown nieghborhood festival to be held June 28th, 2008. With an emphasis on Georgetown and South Seattle residents, Artopia seeks submissions from a wide range of area artists working in disciplines that include performance art, industrial design, sculpture, film, painting, fashion, photography, and more.
