The NALAC Fund for the Arts is a field-advised, grant program designed to help Latinos develop their creative talents and make lasting contributions to our communities and society as a whole. The NALAC Fund for the Arts provides financial resources to strengthen Latino arts organizations and to support Latino artists in the creation of their work.

MONO NO AWARE is an international film event open to any person or group of persons making work that incorporates Super8mm or 16mm film format as part of that presentation. Ethnographic Terminalia (2010) is scheduled to coincide with the 109th Meeting of the American Anthropological Association (AAA) in New Orleans. It will take place at a number of sites around New Orleans with the flagship exhibition at the DuMois Gallery, in the emerging Freret Street Arts & Cultural District. We seek proposals from artists/ethnographers/artist-ethnographers for inclusion of their work in this year’s exhibit.

Inside the Box Series: New concept by Allied Arts staff for smaller, special, hand made goods of any medium. These goods are to be shown in display cases and will run the same length of time (4 weeks) as shows in the gallery space.

The YWCA RAGS Guild announces a call for entries for its 17th annual juried wearable art show and sale. The show will take place March 10–13, 2011, at Mercedes-Benz of Tacoma. Open to all artists working in all media of wearable art—garments, fashion accessories, and jewelry
