Washington Clay Arts Association

The Washington Clay Arts Association (formerly the Washington Potter's Association) started in 1983. From 12 individuals, it has since grown to a membership of over 200 people. Our members all have varying ideas, skills and techniques for working in clay and it is this diversity that makes the WCA an exciting and innovative group. We hold regular meetings or socials with a demo, workshop, or lecture, that allow us to network, share ideas, and continue to experiment and grow in the field of clay. We hold juried shows of members work as well as nonjuried exhibitions. Membership benefits include a bi-monthly newsletter, almost bi-monthly socials, annual Xmas Party, exclusive WCA gallery and show opportunities, access to the WCA library hosted by Pottery Northwest, e-mail of upcoming events thoughout the Pacific Northwest, fabulous discounts with participating businesses and services, voting privileges at WCA meetings and probably most importantly, access into a community of supportive artists. Membership dues are $25 annually (Jan 1-Dec31).
