Northwest Film Forum is presenting the following multi-session workshops:

Beginning Editing with Final Cut Pro
Three Mondays, Mar 1, 8 & 15, 6:30-9:30pm
Learn the basics of non-linear editing with Final Cut Pro. Covers settings, basic principles, effects, titles, sound and printing to video with hands-on experience for each student.

Lighting for Film & Video
Saturday & Sunday, Mar 6 & 7, 10am-4pm
Learn how to use creative lighting techniques to establish a mood and direct your viewer to the most important parts of your shot.

Intermediate Final Cut: Editing
Three Mondays, Feb 8, 15 & 22, 6-9pm
Participants will study clips and then go into the final cut room and walk through the many steps of making a scene or situation come alive.

Motion Graphics Lab: Creating Film Titles

In this five-week workshop, students will learn the tools and processes of a motion graphics designer by creating their own film title sequence.
