Transvideo Studios offers in-kind matching grants in equipment use and post-production services value.

If you are in the process of seeking funding, you may apply for a matching grant from us in advance. Once approved, Transvideo Studios will provide you a Letter of Support, outlining our interest in your project. This allows you to use our in-kind offer as a selling point in your application to donors. They may be more inclined to fund your project knowing that you have additional support and that their awards will automatically double in value.

And if you already have some production or post-production funding, you may apply to our program and have those funds “matched” in value with equipment use and services. For example, if you secure $40,000 in funding, Transvideo Studios may provide up to $80,000 in services. If you secure $10,000 in funding, we may provide up to $20,000 in services, and so on

Transvideo does not offer any monetary grants, and there are no matching grants for travel expenses.

To apply, provide a 3-page (maximum) project brief, including:
project title and synopsis
current status of the project
anticipated completion date

Let us know about your current funding situation, including:
where else you have applied or intend to apply for funding
what funds you currently have available (please list sources and amounts)

Include your resume and any links to your work or demo reel
E-mail all materials to grants@transvideo.com. Attachments must not exceed 1mb. You can also send materials by mail to Transvideo Studios / In-Kind Matching Grants Program, 990 Villa Street, Mountain View, CA 94041. Materials will not be returned.

Applications are processed on a rolling basis and are reviewed by our experienced staff of producers. We will notify you of the status of your application within 2 to 4 weeks. For more information please contact grants@transvideo.com.
