Proctor Art Gallery is looking for a wood turner and a stained glass artist. The gallery is located in the heart of Tacoma's historic Proctor Business District. An average of 600 people visit our gallery every month. Proctor Art Gallery is a new concept in a gallery -- it is not a co-op, but there are similarities. Rent is $125 /month and a joining fee of $100.  Associate Artists sign a contract with the owner and agree to work two days a month in the gallery. Artists keep 90% of their sales; 5% goes to the gallery for operating expenses and 5% goes to the Artists Associate Fund, which artists use for gallery promotions and events. Artists do not have to do managerial tasks or book keeping; that is all provided by the gallery.
