Women in Film Seattle announces the 2010 Professional Grant. The newly created grant will award one woman filmmaker $1,000 in cash, in-kind donations from the Northwest film industry, promotional support through Women In Film (WIF), and a theatrical screening of the finished piece. The grant is open to current or new professional Women in Film members in the Seattle Chapter.

Women in Film is a non-profit organization of professional women in the film, video, and new media industries dedicated to helping its members with support, mentorship, networking and skill-building opportunities. Their goal is to showcase the excellence of women filmmakers in the Pacific Northwest. Professional women with original projects and a commitment to excellence are encouraged to apply.
