The Deaf Council, a service of Tamarind Art Council (TAC), is seeking works from artists who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing for their Second Annual juried show, to be held in New York City. This show will take place in Summer 2010 at the Tamarind Art Council in New York City. Each Artist will be eligible to showcase two works.

Submit digital images of artwork in high-resolution JPEG format (300 dpi or higher). Works may be submitted either by email or CD. Label works with your name and a number corresponding to a sheet with the following information: Title, Year, Medium, and Size. Include an Artist Statement, CV, and bio. The Deaf Council is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization that aims to promote awareness and interaction between the Deaf, Hard of Hearing and Hearing communities. The council seeks to break the barrier of communication between these groups and create awareness of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing and their presence in communities worldwide.
