Artist Work Studio Space Available in tryptos studio collective for one or two artisans. Over 500 sq ft available, plus shared gallery space. Studio currently made up of a painter and a jeweler/metalworker. Studio has the option of being open to the public for exhibition & sales once a month during the Ballard ArtWalk. Facilities include a tub sink, hot and cold running water, shared mini-fridge and microwave (for food, not art materials), a toilet down the hall, and electricity is included in rent. Materials you use must be non-toxic to others in the studio. If you are a jeweler, there is also the possibility of sharing some equipment. ~500 sq ft is $300. First/last and $50 sec dep is required at signing. Space available August 1st. tryptos studio collective is located in the Curtiss Bldg at 5227 Leary Av NW in Old Ballard, near the Tractor Tavern. This neighborhood has emerged as a community of artists with a weaving studio, metalworking, potteries, galleries and several clubs which regularly feature live music.
