Seattle Art Museum / Seeks Donor Services Representative 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:   

  1. Accurately record gift and donor information in the Museum’s database, Raiser’s Edge, on a daily basis.
  2. Process donor credit card payments.   
  3. Accurately batch checks/cash/credit cards for delivery to finance department.   
  4. Produce regular and ad hoc reports from Raiser’s Edge database.   
  5. Act as liaison between Development and Finance departments.   
  6. Maintain an accurate database by deleting duplicate records and filing batch envelopes.  
  7. Perform other duties & responsibilities as assigned. 

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  1. High school graduate or the equivalent education/experience.
  2. Minimum one year related data entry experience.
  3. Excellent communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image when giving and taking information in writing, in person, and over the phone.
  4. Demonstrated proficiency with and accuracy in using MS Office products, including Word, Excel, Access and other software programs.  Accurate typing/keyboarding skills (minimum 50 wpm)
  5. Ability to take initiative, work independently or as part of a team; ability to motivate self & prioritize tasks. 
  6. Ability to work with close attention to both alpha and numeric detail and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. 
  7. Ability to work with donors, members, the public, and co-workers professionally and tactfully.
  8. Ability to adhere to Museum policies and support management decisions in a positive, professional manner.
