ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Â Â Â
- Accurately record gift and donor information in the Museum’s database, Raiser’s Edge, on a daily basis.
- Process donor credit card payments.  Â
- Accurately batch checks/cash/credit cards for delivery to finance department.  Â
- Produce regular and ad hoc reports from Raiser’s Edge database.  Â
- Act as liaison between Development and Finance departments.  Â
- Maintain an accurate database by deleting duplicate records and filing batch envelopes. Â
- Perform other duties & responsibilities as assigned.Â
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- High school graduate or the equivalent education/experience.
- Minimum one year related data entry experience.
- Excellent communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image when giving and taking information in writing, in person, and over the phone.
- Demonstrated proficiency with and accuracy in using MS Office products, including Word, Excel, Access and other software programs. Â Accurate typing/keyboarding skills (minimum 50 wpm)
- Ability to take initiative, work independently or as part of a team; ability to motivate self & prioritize tasks.Â
- Ability to work with close attention to both alpha and numeric detail and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.Â
- Ability to work with donors, members, the public, and co-workers professionally and tactfully.
- Ability to adhere to Museum policies and support management decisions in a positive, professional manner.
