An overall budget of $80,000 has been designated to purchase artworks, with maximum values for individual pieces set at $3500. The height and width of unframed work should not exceed 36" with a depth of 3".

Projects may include museum exhibits, video, documentation projects, website projects, technical assistance programs, oral histories or other activities. Awards typically range from $1,000 to $10,000. Although not required, applicants are encouraged to consider a theme related to 2008 as the 100th anniversary of the Alaska Yukon Pacific Exhibition, Seattle's first "world's fair."
