Washington State Convention & Trade Center
The Washington State Convention & Trade Center's public art program, perhaps the largest of its kind in the nation, was established to provide an enviroment that enriches the experience of all who visit the facility. The creative incorporation of art into the original design of the Convention Center was accomplished via the state's Percent for Arts Program. Since then, due to the board fo director's commitment to provide civic benefits to the state of Washington, the four-story Galleria has offered a large and ever changing collection of two- and three-dimensional artworks readily acessable to meeting attendees and the public. 800 Convention Place Information ResourcesWashington State Convention & Trade Center / Seeks Artists"The Galleries", the temporary art exhibition space at the WSCTC, seeks artist groups for the 2009-10 exhibition schedule. |
