Seattle Art Museum seeks an energetic and creative Educator to implement school and educator programs at the Museum's three sites: Seattle Art Museum, Seattle Asian Art Museum, and the Olympic Sculpture Park. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, developing and assessing effective group tours and art studio workshops; developing new docent and teaching art training programs; providing on-going training to existing docents, teaching artists, and art studio volunteers; and managing supplies for all art studio workshops. The incumbent will also represent and promote SAM's group tours and group learning programs at education-related meetings, workshops, and conferences at a local, regional and national level. Masters degree in Art History, Art Education, Museum Education or related field and at least three years of relevant teaching experience and professional museum experience. Demonstrated knowledge of new technologies and practices in education and museums and experience developing art lesson plans and creating interdisciplinary art experiences required.
