Literary, visual and performing artists are invited to participate in the !!ArtsLaunch!! event Thursday on June 5th, 2008, 8PM at the Tashiro Kaplan Artist Lofts' Vandenbrink Community Room.

!!ArtsLaunch!!'s goal is to provide an informal venue supporting works-in-progress by emerging and established Seattle artists. In each performance, a selection of 7-8 artists working in a variety of media present current ideas based on their studio work. The events are open to the public with a $5-$15 suggested donation.

Each performance is followed by an informal discussion where presented work offers a window into the collaborative process. The goadl of !!ArtsLaunch!! is to provide artists from a variety of backgrounds an opportunity to show work without the pressures of more formal venues and to enjoy interdisciplinary dialogue. The June forum will be held as part of the first Thursday Art Walk. Artists practicing in all disciplines are encouraged to apply.
