4Culture seeks a Communications Manager to provide management and lead staff coordination for it's marketing, advocacy and communication needs, including development of annual communications work plan and budget. Required Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in non-profit or public administration, communications, public relations, art/art history/history, or related field and at least five years of experience in administration of cultural programming (or equivalent combination of education and experience) are the minimum requirements for this position. The most successful applicants will also have experience working with government advisory commissions, non-profit boards, and/or cultural organizations. The work location for this position is at 4Culture offices, currently at 101 Prefontaine Place S, Downtown Seattle, with field work throughout King County, Washington.  This Communication Manager position has a 37.5 hour work week, generally Monday through Friday. Occasional early morning, evening and/or weekend hours are required. This position reports to the 4Culture Executive Director, and works collaboratively with other 4Culture professional staff. The Communications Manager recieves a comprehensive benefits package and is classified as Regular Full Time, Exempt.
