First Night Spokane, an arts celebration held annually on December 31st, seeks visual and performing artists for the 2009 event. Held from 3PM to Midnight, this alcohol free event draws over 100,000 people and was honored as the Inland Tourism Board's "Event of the Year" in 2005. This year's theme is "Somewhere is Time", and artists are requested to incorporate this somewhere in their work. Performing artists will be paid.
