Artech / Seeks Programs Manager 

Artech Inc – the West Coast’s premiere fine art handling service – is seeking a Program Manager for their Collection Management department. The Manager is involved in the planning, coordination, and successful implementation of all public programs produced for Artech’s collection management clientele.   

Artech Inc, provides services to private and public collectors on a local, national and international scale. Our clients include museums, corporations, art consultants and award winning interior designers and architects. 

Supervisory Responsibilities This position will oversee interns and volunteers 

Key Responsibilities Management of an annual calendar of arts-related programs including films, lectures, readings, tours, classes, and both an intern and volunteer docent program. Production and maintenance of online & print marketing & communication vehicles.  Execution of ongoing program coordination duties including budgeting, evaluation, reporting, and the ongoing exploration of departmental, programmatic, and audience growth. 

Qualifications and Requirements

·         A BS/BA degree in liberal arts required; Ma/MS in the fields of Arts Education or PR/Communication preferred

·         2-4 years developing, presenting & marketing arts-related programming for adult audiences

·         Executive presence with polished and well developed oral and written communication skills

·         Solid web communications skills (developing content and functionality requirements for a self service environment) and graphic design skills necessary to craft the “look and feel” of multiple online communication venues.

·         Strong client relationship, interpersonal and team collaboration skills

·         Experience facilitating, coaching and mentoring teams specifically to drive consensus, brainstorm and/or to gather data for a project(s)

·         Ability to independently plan, manage & execute concurrent multidimensional projects and programs

·         Programs: MS Office Suite 2007, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, SharePoint
