The Seattle International Film Festival seeks event interns for several events during the upcoming festival. Event staff will need to be able to think on their feet in a fast-paced atmosphere. Compensation is a SIFF pass that will allow entry to any movie or event, one year SIFF membership and school credit, if applicable. Must be available to work 10 hours a week before and the week after the festival and and 20 hours a week during the festival. Responsibilities include scheduling volunteers for events, shopping for supplies, handling invites and working at events, helping manage on-site staff and crews, general administrative tasks and load-in/load out for events. Requirements are being age 21 or over by May 20th, 2008, ability to lift at least 50 lbs, valid drivers' license and ability to drive a cargo van, be comfortable with computer, Microsoft Office and type at least 45 wpm.
