Emerson Umbrella Center for the Arts / Seeks Entries

This exhibit will highlight a journey of exploration and imagination based on an interpretation of the theme River Works. We will consider all media and styles and welcome sculpture that would be safe and stable enough to place on the Umbrella¹s front lawn.

The exhibit will run during the 6th Annual Sudbury, Assabet & Concord River Fest on June 14th and 15th which celebrates stewardship, but entries are not limited to environmental themes. Memory and desire, whimsy and fantasy are all welcome to complete this exhibit theme.

Entry Requirements: Jurors will look at up to three images for each artist.
Please send an image list of works with the application including; title, date, medium, dimensions and price. Please include your name, address, telephone/cell and email address for contact.

Slides or digital images on a PC formatted CD (Jpegs or PowerPoint) should be clearly marked with your name and the name of the piece along with the corresponding number on the list of works. For slides include a red dot in the lower left corner to help us orient your images properly. If practical, you may submit actual work for juror¹s review. Send the requested material (post mark) with a SASE for return.

There is no entry fee. The Emerson Umbrella will take 25% of the selling price.

The Emerson Umbrella Gallery is a 55' x 12' space, which doubles as the theatre lobby. The wall configuration will accommodate works of varied sizes including a few pieces up to eight feet wide. There are also two smaller corridors at either end of the Gallery with locked glass cases. The Gallery is protected by two security cameras. We cannot insure art work hung in our Gallery.
