Job Description: Foundation and Corporate Giving Coordinator
Background
Pratt is an arts education and resource center dedicated to promoting creative development and artistic engagement to the local and global community. Pratt is known as “The place to make art.” This non-profit has a 30-year history of meeting its mission.
Position
The Foundation and Corporate Giving Coordinator is responsible for researching and securing corporate, government and foundation funding for both annual operating expenses and project support. This position supports the Development Department by providing writing and editing support for such items as the annual appeal, corporate sponsorship requests, annual report and other communication publications.
Structure
Foundation and Corporate Giving Coordinator is a 40 hour/week position that reports to the Director of Development.
Minimum Qualifications
· Proven track record of securing foundation, corporate and government grants.
· Outstanding writing, editing and organizational skills
· Ability to manage deadlines and multitask
· Competency with Microsoft Office Suite
· Working knowledge of Raiser’s Edge
Duties and Responsibilities
· Writing grant proposals, reports, acknowledgement letters and letters of inquiry.
· Establishing and maintaining relationships with grantors, including contractual requirements and recognition.
· Creating and maintaining grant files and tracking database.
· Developing corporate, government and foundation funding goals.
· Other writing duties as assigned, which may include corporate sponsorship requests, appeals, and annual report.
· Other duties as assigned.
