The Young Illustrators Award (YIA) is now accepting submissions in the following categories: illustration, animation and bookart. The aim of the competition is to award innovative tendencies and an individual artistic approach. The top three winners of the YIA (bronze, silver and gold) will get the chance to design a limited edition Swatch. 20 winners will be shown at the Illustrative Festival in October, 2008 in Zürich, Switzerland. This festival will celebrate the illustrative arts, discover new talents, support the exchange of ideas, demonstrate progressive technologies and rejuvenate forgotten styles.
