The Grand Cinema The Grand Cinema has operated as a non-profit cinema for 11 years and has an annual attendance of well over 100,000 patrons. With access to moviegoers from all over the Seattle/Tacoma area, the Grand offers great opportunities for filmmakers and film enthusiasts to participate in a community that strongly values independent, foreign and documentary films. Because we are a non-profit movie theater, we are able to show independent, artsy, and lesser-known films and documentaries. In the past year, we have presented such acclaimed movies as, Into the Wild, Waitress, In the Shadow of the Moon, La Vie en Rose, Once, Sicko, The Diving Bell and the Butterfly, No Country for Old Men, and more recently, Young @ Heart. 606 S Fawcett Ave Information Resources2008 Tacoma Film Festival Poster Design Contest / Seeks EntriesOpportunity for artists.
