Washington Attorneys Assisting Community Organizations (WAACO) presents this Lunchtime Brown Bag Seminar. The presenter will be Vickie L. Wallen, a member of Perkins Coie's Political Law practice, where she advises diverse clients on state campaign finance law and election law, executive and legislative ethics regulation, and lobbying registration and disclosure.

Nonprofit organizations have strict, but often confusing, limits on the lobbying and political activities they can engage in. In this election year, many nonprofits are examining these limits. This seminar will address what constitutes lobbying and political activity, and how to define the limits for 501(c)(3) organizations.
