The Shoreline-Lake Forest Park Arts Council seeks a part-time coordinator for its arts education program in the Shoreline School District. This is a contract position of approximately 10 hours per week to manage the SLFPAC Artists-in-Residence program for the 2008-09 school year, working with the executive director and an arts education consultant starting in August/September. Salary DOQ. Preferred qualifications include a degree in an arts or education field, two years of experience in arts education or arts administration, competence in developing arts or education programs, initiative in program funding, and excellent communication and administrative skills. Responsibilities include grant writing and reporting; managing Artists-in-Residence projects, program documents and information, artist offerings, collaboration between artists and teachers, professional development for artists and teachers, and State mandated EALRs.
