The King County Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Committee is seeking image rights to an original artwork by a King County-based artist for the 2009 celebration theme Breaking Boundaries.

An honorarium of $500 will be offered for rights to the selected image. The most competitive images will be those which visually articulate an idea around the theme while highlighting one of Dr. King's many values including courage, truth, social justice, equity, compassion, dignity, humility and service. The artwork remains the property of the artist.
