The Saul Bell Design Award is now open to entries. Now in its ninth year, the award continues to recognize artists whose work challenges traditional perceptions of jewelry design. It is named after the founder of Rio Grande, one of the world's largest suppliers to the jewelry industry. Entry Categories: No limit to number of entries. $45 fee per entry. Each individual can place once as a finalist in each category. In addition to financial rewards and industry-wide recognition, designers who place in a category receive a limited-edition sculpture created by New Mexico glass artist John Healey.
