Encore! Theater in Gig Harbor, WA is currently preparing for the 08/09 season. Auditions will be held in mid-August (see below) and the following positions must be filled:

-Season Directors
-Musical Directors
-Choreographers

The program has already been set:
-Oct. 17th "Richard O'Brien's Rocky Horror Show" or "Chicago"
-Nov. 28th  Ray Cooney's "Run for Your Wife"
-Feb. 27th "Seussical"
-April 24th "Nunsense"
-May 29th Neil Simon's "Fools"
-July 10th High School Musical II
-Aug. 14th a Shakespeare TBA

AUDITIONS

Roles are available in the following shows:
-Kander and Ebb's "Chicago"(9 men 10 women)
-"Richard O'Brien's Rocky Horror Show"(7men 3 women)
-Ray Cooney's "Run for Your Wife"(6 men and 2 female)
-McGilliard's "The Nutcracker, Beyond the Dream"  (for Fritz & the party guests)

No roles have been pre-cast.  The auditions will take place at the indoor theater located at 6615 38th Avenue Northwest in Gig Harbor on Sunday August 17th and Monday August 18th with potential call backs on Tuesday August 19th.  Specific rehearsal schedules and performances dates will be provided at the audition. 

Although not all of the shows are musicals we ask auditioners to be prepared to sing a song of their choice without any accompaniment.  Additional audition materials will be provided.  Monologues are acceptable.  Be prepared for a movement audition.  Please provide a photograph of yourself. 

Actors who have performed in Encore! shows during the past year need not audition, but do need to turn in an audition form by August 18th to be considered for casting. Encore! Theater is a small all volunteer, not for profit, community theater and can not pay it's performers.
