The City of Richland, WA invites artists to submit proposals for the design and execution of artwork along the Waterfront Trail between Columbia Point Marina Park and the Centennial Plaza. The City intends to use public art to interpret Richland’s past, present and future and has begun by recently completing two major wood carvings within Howard Amon Park. Responses to this request are at the full cost of the artist. There may be a modest stipend for the creation of specific proposals if a clear top candidate cannot be selected. The budget for the artwork is $48,000 funded from the City’s levy of lodging taxes intended to generate tourism activity.
