Are you an aspiring dance or movement instructor? Would you like to open your own professional dance studio or launch a dance or movement program? Enhance your understanding of dance teaching methods and the anatomical and somatic practices necessary for effective teaching with this program, sponsored by the UW Dance Program. You’ll examine classroom dynamics, create lesson plans and explore careers in dance instruction. Site visits may be included.
