The Ferndale Arts Commission (FAC) seeks an artwork for the Centennial Riverwalk Park in Ferndale, Washington. The piece will be sited in the Park’s fountain, located at the northern end of the Park, fronting Main Street. Guidelines: The artwork must be durable, low maintenance, and appropriate to the location. The artist should take into consideration the high amount of pedestrian traffic within the park, light (both natural and electric), the water environment, and temperature control when designing the artwork. The approximate $75,000 budget includes all costs associated with the project, including but not limited to: artist’s design fee, travel, materials, fabrication costs, documentation, and transportation and installation of the work. Artist teams are eligible to apply, including teams of artists from multiple disciplines. Contact Linda Knutson, City Clerk / Ferndale Arts Commission Staff Support: Â
