King County Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Committee / Seeks Artwork

Artwork Opportunity: Breaking Barriers Project

The King County Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Committee is seeking image rights to an original artwork, which captures the spirit of the theme for the County’s 2009 celebration: Breaking Barriers. The most competitive images will be those which visually articulate an idea around the theme while highlighting one of Dr. King’s many values including courage, truth, social justice, equity, compassion, dignity, humility and service.

King County will offer an honorarium of $500 to use a photographic copy of the selected artwork for one year. The artwork will remain the property of the owner.
