The ROSCAR Awards are now accepting entries. The ROSCARs pay tribute to filmmakers making a contribution to the natural history industry. The awards are given at a gala event held during the Durban Wild Talk Africa Film Festival, in Durban, South Africa, which runs from April 19th - 23rd. 2009 at the ICC Durban. To qualify, productions must have an aspect of the natural world as the central focus such as revealing new facts about animal behavior, a natural habitat, ecology, travel, culture or humankind’s relationship with the natural environment and with animals. No length limitation. Productions must have been completed after January, 2007. Fiction and non-fiction welcome. No advertising permitted.
