Bequests

Consider Providing for Artist Trust in Your Will

Making a bequest to Artist Trust may be a simple way for you to give, and it can have an extraordinarily beneficial impact upon Artist Trust's programs. You may consider providing a percentage or residual of your estate, a specific amount of cash, or a piece of property or artwork. It is always a good idea to check with your financial planner or attorney about the disposition of your estate after your death. However, providing for Artist Trust in your will is easy.

If you plan to make a bequest, the following suggested language added to your will or as a codicil may have lasting impact upon Artist Trust and its programming:

I hereby give to Artist Trust, a Washington non-profit corporation with its principal location in Seattle, Washington, the sum of $______________ (or _______% of my estate, or the residual of my estate after payment of the foregoing bequests, or _____________________________ description of specific artwork or property.)
