The DANCE This Summer Dance Training Intensive provides an opportunity for young dancers at all levels to immerse themselves in dance over the course of 2 weeks.

Students will be exposed to a wide range of dance styles and techniques in a supportive, yet challenging atmosphere. Instruction includes ballet, modern, jazz, hip-hop, African & special workshops.

The Dance this Camp at Centrum provides an opportunity for high-school aged dancers at all levels to study a wide range of styles and techniques in a supportive, yet challenging atmosphere.
Students can experience the whole range of workshop offerings – Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Salsa, African & special workshops – while living and working with vital, contemporary teaching artists and with a community of peers from across the state.

Tuition fee plus room and board is $695 per participant.

Telling Stories: Experiments in Solo Performance

This workshop, led by Stokley Towles,  provides a supportive atmosphere for experimenting with different forms of live art. You will learn to combine autobiographical and historical materials with images and objects to tell stories. Writing and movement exercises will lead to new ideas. Creative and challenging assignments will inspire you to perform each week.

"Dance This" is produced by Seattle Theatre Group. It brings together
teen performers, choreographers, guest artists and teachers to
share their culture through the art of dance.

The "Dance This" Intensive will take place June 17- July 1, 2009 10am-5pm at Pacific Northwest Ballet studios in Seattle.
Instruction includes Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Hip-Hop, African & special workshops. 

Open to all levels, ages 13-22.
$275 if registered before May 20, $300 after May 20.

All students and community members interested in drawing from a live model are welcome to attend. Free.

This is a non-classroom situation (no formal instruction will be provided), so bring the drawing tools of your choice and enjoy the relaxed studio atmosphere or work on your portfolio.
