Come to the 2010 Annual ART IN THE PARK in the lovely summer setting of Longview's gem - Lake Sacajawea Park. The event will give you the opportunity to meet and interact with artists and to view and purchase their works of art. Additionally, there will be art activities for children, artist demonstrations, and food vendors. In 2009 at Hemlock Plaza, Lake Sacajawea, more than 50 vendors exhibited their arts and crafts which included oils, watercolors, pottery, stained glass, metal sculpture, recycled materials art, jewelry, and more! Beginning the first Monday in April (April 5th.), Frances is opening her downtown Puyallup artist’s studio/gallery for local artists to work together on a regular basis. Space will be available by subscription. A one session fee is $15 for 3 hours of studio time. Those making a prior purchase of 12 sessions will receive a 10% discount. Those 12 sessions must be used in the 6 months after purchase.

Beacon Arts is a new group forming for people who are interested in bringing more creativity to the Beacon Hill neighborhood of Seattle. On September 18th and 19th from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM approximately twenty Edmonds artists will open their studios to the public. The Edmonds Art Festival is the sponsor of this fifth annual Edmonds Art Studio Tour. The free self-guided tour showcases the work of about forty local artists. Visitors will have an opportunity to meet artists and see how they produce their work; discuss their tools, techniques, and latest projects; get an insider's view of their creative processes and be the first to see their newest work.
